I have just returned from a flying trip to Brugge, Belgium as my birthday treat from the wonderful man in my life. Brugge is famous for its chocolatiers, but not as widely known are its genius lace makers. They is shop after shop of intricately crafted lace pieces: antique lace fans, umbrellas, collars, doilies, scent sachets and napkins galore.
This has inspired me to look at other things you can do with lace...
